I do not have any documents to verify this but I'm convinced with the condition and the way it drives it's original. This car is a survivor that retains some of its original paint and its entire original interior. This car is Wimbledon white and has a factory red interior; with a newer white top that's in excellent shape. I am selling this car as a driver as it is not a show car. There is the natural paint checking on the quarters and fenders; which is where the original paint still rests. There have been some touchups over the years. The trunk lid has been repainted. There are a few scratches (tried to picture one on passenger side but it’s very hard to see) that has been touched up. There are also some bubbles (very small) on passenger door corner towards the front. (pictured). It is a VERY solid car. Rockers and floors are original and free of any rotting. New trunk weatherstripping, new hood insulation, and new red T-bird floor mats. The interior is in nice ORIGINAL shape. Keep in mind; this isn’t a replacement interior that looks perfect. It shows its wear, mostly in discoloration, Small 1" tear on passenger butt. The dash chrome/molding is showing its age. The chrome is nice and still has sheen. Glass is all excellent and the windows all roll up nice. The tilt away wheel works well. The steering wheel itself is very nice with no cracks. Horn doesn’t work. I do know the aftermarket radio, fuel gauge, voltage gauge, and speedometer work. Now for the power top; I paid a professional (Tom Chitwood in Daytona FL) to come and repair the top. It is in great working order and operates up and down as it should. This cost me over $1500. As far as drivability goes it runs/drives very tight. When you turn the wheel 1" you can feel the tires move. The engine starts with a bump of the key and does no smoke at all. It seems to operate at a good temperature. The transmission shifts well in every gear. The power brakes work extremely well. I think I covered mostly everything but I’m sure I left something out. Please ask questions and bid with confidence. Up For auction is a hard to find and very original 1964 Ford Thunderbird Convertible with the original #’s matching 390-4V motor and automatic transmission showing only 39K miles. I do not have any documents to verify this but I'm convinced with the condition and the way it drives it's original. This car is a survivor that retains some of its original paint and its entire original interior. This car is Wimbledon white and has a factory red interior; with a newer white top that's in excellent shape. I am selling this car as a driver as it is not a show car. There is the natural paint checking on the quarters and fenders; which is where the original paint still rests. There have been some touchups over the years. The trunk lid has been repainted. There are a few scratches (tried to picture one on passenger side but it’s very hard to see) that has been touched up. There are also some bubbles (very small) on passenger door corner towards the front. (pictured). It is a VERY solid car. Rockers and floors are original and free of any rotting. New trunk weatherstripping, new hood insulation, and new red T-bird floor mats.

The interior is in nice ORIGINAL shape. Keep in mind; this isn’t a replacement interior that looks perfect. It shows its wear, mostly in discoloration, Small 1" tear on passenger butt. The dash chrome/molding is showing its age. The chrome is nice and still has sheen. Glass is all excellent and the windows all roll up nice. The tilt away wheel works well. The steering wheel itself is very nice with no cracks. Horn doesn’t work. I do know the aftermarket radio, fuel gauge, voltage gauge, and speedometer work.

Now for the power top; I paid a professional (Tom Chitwood in Daytona FL) to come and repair the top. It is in great working order and operates up and down as it should. This cost me over $1500.

As far as drivability goes it runs/drives very tight. When you turn the wheel 1" you can feel the tires move. The engine starts with a bump of the key and does no smoke at all. It seems to operate at a good temperature. The transmission shifts well in every gear. The power brakes work extremely well.
