1963 CLASSIC FORD THUNDERBIRD CONVERTIBLE NO RESERVE True Barn Find- Driven less than 100 miles in last 10 years Three year project encompassing countless hours and too many dollars! Please remember, this is a 48 year old car. I am representing it as accurately as I can based on my knowledge. I am happy to answer any questions. This is a car you can enjoy. It is not a 100% original show car and thus priced accordingly. The exterior is Corinthian White and the interior is Red ( more like Oxblood). Restoration work included: New Paint New Seat Covers New Carpet New Dash Pad New Top and Window (to be installed) Rebuilt Ford-O-Matic Transmission Rebuilt braking system including new master cylinder, wheel cylinders, hard lines, and rebuilt power booster Replaced floor pans, rocker panels and reinforced unibody New exhaust system from down pipes back - new pipes, muffler, tailpipe New battery Various other hoses, belts and miscellaneous parts Since completely the above restoration, I have only driven the car twice around my neighborhood. The car needs a good shakedown cruise and some additional tweaking before being truly roadworthy. As with any other 48 year old car there are some mior items to address such as the turn signals, dome lights, gauges, etc. The car still needs a few items. The top and the trunk lift hydraulics need to be installed. The NEW top needs to be installed. It does not have the finish panel flip mechanism. It does not have seat belts just as it was delivered in 1963. There may be some other convertible parts missing; there is a box of extra convertible parts. There is not a radio or any speakers. The clearance between the tires and skirts is very minimal and it needs the pins to hold on the skirts. I am sure there are some other bits and pieces missing. Please review the pictures and ask any questions. Selling price is to be paid with a bank wire transfer or certified bank check within 4 days of end of sale. I will offer my assistance but arranging with a transport company is the buyer’s responsibility. Any inspections are to be completed before the end of the auction, not afterward. Please no exceptions. Car will be sold with Georgia Bill of Sale. I encourage prospective buyers to examine the vehicle prior to bidding. It is being sold without warranty and "AS IS."
