2001 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD Duramax Diesel, Allison Transmission, 2WD. Only 112k miles. First off the motor is hurt. My mechanic thinks its a wrist pin in one of the pistons. It started making noise so I drove it to mechanic and it was diagnosed. I drove it home and it has sat since 8-10-11. The truck ran fine with good oil pressure it just made alot of noise. (knocking noise). I tried starting it the other day, and it turns over and tries to start but would not run. I am not making any guarantees, just stating that it was running when I shut it off. I think the trouble started when the water pump went out 6 months ago and allowed water into crankcase. Anyway, beyond the motor issue the truck is in good shape. It only has 112K miles on it. Allison Transmission in good shape. Recent parts on motor include one bank of new injectors (4). New waterpump, new starter, also one new battery. AC cold. Has straight pipe to replace muffler, and cold air intake.(muffler and origional intake included) No oil leaksTruck has cloth bench seat with rubber floor and roll up windows, chrome front bumper, factory alloy wheels, bedliner and diamond plate bed/tailgate rails. ( I am keeping the toolbox) couple small dings and scratches here and there that I tried to picture. No rust but for a little on bottom tailgate hinge. I am the second owner, always a local florida truck. Never had a fifth wheel or gooseneck. I only used it to haul my race trailer. I want to sell it as is, as I no longer need an HD truck, and I dont want to put anymore money in it. Could be a great deal for someone. Clear Florida title.
