Up for sale is 1951 Willys Jeep Truck. Body needs a little work, but all orginal sheetmetal, bed has been done in diamond plate. Truck runs good and shifts good. I bought the truck to turn into race truck just dont have the time to finish. My loss is your gain. I will do my best to describe the truck as follows: Motor: Chevy 355 with mild cam. Motor was rebulit by former owner. New holley 600cfm carb on top. Motors runs good and doesn't smoke or use oil. Motor was redone right before I brought truck still has fresh paint on it. Body: all orginial for what I can tell, doors and cab corners have rust on the bottom. Inside floor plan needs replaced on drivers side please look at close in pics don't want any surpises when you come to get it. Driver side window glass has crack in it but rolls up and down without any issues, the rest of the glass is great shape. Battery has been relocated to under the bed of truck was that way when I brought it. Seat is in good shape. Now here is a break down of the truck: Nice tires and rims Motor 355 w/ mild cam front end is a Dana 44 for a 79 scout with 373 gears in it rear end is Ford 9 inch from 1975 with 373 gears. transmission is chevy 400 turbo transfer case is Dana 20 from 1979 scout power steering was added from 1979 scout also I have a tremendous amout of paperwork from the gentleman I bought the truck from I have reciepts, when all work was done on truck etc and a clear title. This truck is not street legal, lights and wipers work, but I never had it on the road. I work to many hours to deliver the truck. Must be picked up.
