Selling a very nice 1970 Honda CT70 Mini Trail 70 with 2084 original miles. I am the second owner of this motorcycle; the original owner had it in his garage since 1970. The bike is 100% original except the battery and a replaced carburetor. I replaced the original one so we could ride it at our deer lease but I still have the original one and will send it along to the new owner and been garage kept. This bike had been used yearly since I bought it in 2004 until last season – sadly my boys have out grown riding the little “Red Menace”. We originally bought it to allow my boys to get back and forth to the deer stands and have daily rides while on the lease and it never failed to deliver a good time for them and their friends. It’s sad; they have out grown it so it’s time to send this small treasure on to someone else who can get the enjoyment out of it. For 41 years old it’s seems to be bullet proof, it runs great, no drips, leaks or smoking but it does need a new battery. It usually take a good 5-10 kicks after its been sitting for a year but after she gets running she fires up in 1-2 kicks the remainder of the trip. She shifts beautifully and is a pleasure to ride. Upon cleaning I noticed the Spark plug cable is ready to be replaced so a new battery and spark plug cable and you should be good to go. Paint and chrome are a solid 8 to 8.5 out of 10. There are some scratches, nicks, and light pitting as you would expect but far above average. Seat pan has the usual crack but it was like that when we bought it. I took a great deal of time to take a lot of pictures so please take some time to review. I tried to take pictures from many different angles and views so you can get a good feel for this little jewel before you bid. The Bike will come with the original tool kit and the original carburetor I replaced.
