1965 Triumph Bonneville

Please read this thoroughly before bidding. This is an excellent candidate for restoration. It's a 1965 Bonneville that was crashed when it was new with very low miles. Pretty much unmolested , but a lot of the original parts were taken off when it sat idle.The engine and frame numbers match. I have the proper paperworh for ownership transfer. The engine turns over and the motor has never been out of the frame. It still has the original wiring harness and battery still in place from the factory.The primary and timing covers have never been off. The gas tank paint is original, but the tank unfortunately has rust issues and a hole thru near the petcock. There's a few creases where it crashed, as well as the dented oil tank.The frame appears straight. The swing arm is a substitue for ease of moving. The seat is original and with the exception of one small scuff, in excellent condition.The rear fender paint is original. The forks are a substitute, but I belive it's the proper front wheel. The head has one broken fin. The cylinder is a replacement, but in excellent condition with what appears to be standard bore. The back wheel is a substitue, but I believe proper for that year. Same goes for the carbs. The front fender is a substitute .This particular model had a unique air filter but several pieces are missing. Please note the tach drive. I've looked at what are proper restorations for a 1965 Bonneville and they're different.There's a lot of nuts and bolts missing, so look closely. I don't want to misrepresent it in any way.
