The Contemporary Cobra has been characterized as being 'The closest to an original as a reproduction gets.’ The Contemporary Classic roadster has long been judged to be the highest quality, the authentic and most period-correct 427SC Cobra replica. Its dimensions and proportions were taken from an original Shelby Cobra, CSX 3045, and thus are virtually exact. The Contemporary features a robust, round-tube chassis that is nearly identical to the original Shelby design. This Cobra has been driven only 4000 miles. It's extremely quick and nimble, and it elicits 'thumbs up' responses and draws throngs of admirers every time you take it out onto the asphalt.
