I had occasion to drive this (first time for me off the lawn) yestereday (wed) less than a mile to relocate it due to the real estate transaction. The brakes are very weak and the belts squeal. This is the second 3 day listing. That will be all. I do not want to be dealing with this for very long. If not sold I am parting it out and taking the carcass to the crusher. They are actually paying fairly well right now and this is over 5,000 pounds as is. If you want a part or more, let me know and I can list it after the close of this listing. Elderly neighbor lady SOLD her rural retirement home and moving into an apartment in town, and is divesting her stuff. Factory original 429 cubic inch Cadillac motor, factory specs are 480 ft-lb of Torque and 340 HP. CR 10.5:1, overhead, 90 degree, V8, 4.130 Bore x 4.000 stroke She acquired this in 1989 from the original family, also driven by an elderly lady about 2,000 miles a year. That 1989 Title says 56,670 actual miles, collector plates. Same plate as today. We have the owners manual with the protection plan book and metal plate with original owner information. She only drove it occasionally at first and more recently (10 years ~) it sits all winter then is moved to allow lawn mowing during the summer. The hub caps are really nice Obviously it has cosmetic and age issues. Other known issues: Tires are old -- in my opinion not road worthy; has a spare and jack set. (remind me to give yo the spare I forgot it in her garage.) brakes are weak -- in my opinion not road worthy; needs a complete round of general maintenance, belts, filters and fluids changed; needs a good cleaning inside and out, and detailing; Come and have a gander. The gas gauge shows full, I am not thinking that is true. It runs fine on the gas in there now. needs an air filter. The pictures are from June 2011. I hosed it off but did not do much cleaning. All the glass is good no cracks. The vehicle is substantially complete but needs Some minor things and TLC. If you absolutely insist on driving it home rather than having it shipped you can have a local GM dealer take a look at it and estimate cost to do the fluids and what not. I can do those things at my grease pit for less that their charge to you i am sure. We can see what they say then negotiate that if you want. I cannot stress enough that it needs fluids and what not before being safe on the road and for the longevity of the components. Not many miles on the last maintenance, but lots of time. I do not even trust the old tires.
