Just in on trade. This car has a 351 Windsor that starts and seems to run and sound good. Starts good with a touch of the key and does not smoke. Automatic transmission with a new floor shifter but it still retains the original steering column with shifter still on the column should you want to put it back to factory. Has a new fuel pump and newly rebuilt 600 CFM Holley 4 Barrel. New master cylinder and new chrome breather. Car came from Campbell County, Tennessee - Southern Car. This is a good project car that you can move around on its own power while you work on it. Really decent under the hood, with just a small rust spot under the battery and small spot on cross member behind radiator support- easy patch, inner fenders are good, core support is good, radiator looks usable and does not leak. Nice rare GT hood is in great shape with just some light surface rust on the underside that could be knocked off with a scuff pad. Underside of hood, trunk and jambs are still in the original paint - this is a factory red on red car - can't beat that color combo. I as showing numerous pictures so you can see what little rust there is in the car. Inner and outer rockers are really nice as is the quarters and rear inner fenders and trunk floor. As shown in the photos there is some small rust through in the floor that could be easily patched. Rest of floors are super solid. One small place in truck in back with rest of truck floor solid. Now the bad parts - brakes will stop the car but it should have a good going over - again new master cylinder. Drivers side rear has a broken spring - same as any 70 ford including the mustang - easy find and fix. Drivers door has had body work - looks like someone backed into it in bottom front corner - pulled out dent and used some bondo. Interior is all there and complete but will need completely redone - headliner is missing but all supports are still there. All original glass in good shape except windshield which is cracked. There is a couple of small rust spots at the bottom rear of the front fenders - flat patch area - should be an easy fix. Quarters and rear wheel arches are really nice. As mentioned under hood and trunk retains original red paint - trunk still has jack instructions. Rear taillight panel is not cracked and just needs a good cleaning and polishing. The original lower valance panels are in the trunk as are some other parts. Car runs, pulls, stops - can drive onto your trailer. Ky title has been applied for and may take several weeks to get back but car will be sold with immediate bill of sale. I have tried to describe the car as good as I can and probably made it sound a lot worse than it is. Would make a really nice looking car as it seems complete. Has what looks like Ansen Aluminum slots - 7's on the front and 8's on the back. Please call Doyle at 606-260-1172 with any questions. This is Doyle's car and I am helping him sell it. He runs a garage and body shop and will be happy to tell you anything about the car as it is at his shop. You are welcome to email me also with any questions but Doyle is available to answer all questions in person. He is currently working on a 69 chevy long bed rat rod shop truck, a 1970 short fleet side nice chevy truck and a really nice 1965 Chevy Impala. VEHICLES ARE SOLD AS IS WHERE IS WITH NO WARRANTY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. We can hold the car for as long as necesary for you to arrange pickup. We also have a delivery man that runs to New Jersey every week that will usually deliver to Newark for $500. A non refundable deposit of $250 is required at the end of the auction and payment is due in full within 7 days of auction end. Please let Doyle know if this will be a problem before bidding. Reserve is set low as Doyle has the vehicle for sale unlike a lot of ones on here that just seem to want an apprasial.
