Everybody keeps telling me in this poor economy even though this car is extreamly nice that the market value is in the high 50's! Jr. 251-769-1639 If you have ever had your heart set on owning a 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible that is just as nice as one can be and still be driven and enjoyed at a price that "per the quality of the restoration" is second to none I ask you to consider this one. The ebay community is full of smart car guys and collectors that can certainly tell looking at the quality and condition of this car and the price verses others that are being sold here and advertised on other websites that this is one of the 'Best Buys' in the market today! From our personal collection this 55 Bel Air Convertible will make some car lover a very happy owner at a price that will not break the bank! Frame-Off, Nut and Bolt Rotisserie Restoration with a build cost of over $100 Grand! This is how a car is supposed to be restored. Red Oxide floors underneath that are correct. Beautiful straight body 'without loads of bondo' in the quarters,etc,etc.! No undercoating under the hood either with a very correct engine compartment. Chrome and Stainless is very nice. Glass is very nice! Just take a good look at the photos and you can tell for yourself. Correct colors of Gypsy Red and Ivory Beige with matching Red and Beige interior with a new matching Beige Top in the correct material. Also included is the matching Beige Convertible Top Boot for when the top is down. Only 2635 miles since the restoration. It has been driven and enjoyed! Please take a good look at the photos of the restoration on this car. We hear so many people say, my car is concours restored or my car is frame-off nut and bolt restored and you look under the bottom of the car and it's 2 fingers deep in undercoating and every thing is painted black from a spray paint can. Not being harsh but in the collector car market we see this everyday, sad but true. The "Original Drivetrain' is in the car. 265 V8, Powerglide Automatic Transmission, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Top that works perfect and is spotless ( don't have any photos of the top down sorry ), All working Power Windows, Working Power Seat, Fender Skirts, Full Tinted Glass, Original Continental Spare Tire Kit, AM Wonderbar Radio, Correct Hub Caps with Wide White Wall Tires, and more. The engine was rebuild with no expense spared, has a nice little cam in the motor that sounds like it is supposed to. My feedback is perfect but this car is sold as is with no warranty expressed or implied but it is exactly like I say. It is not perfect and by that I mean she was not perfect when new. My family were GM and Ford dealers for 40 years and the brand new cars off the truck were not perfect but it is very very close. It is solid and very very nice. No dents, dings, marks, etc.. It is a good one!! A deposit of $2,000.00 U.S. funds is required within 24 hours with the balance due in 3 days. If you want to send the whole amount at one time that is just fine also. Personal pickup can be arranged too but I cannot let this car leave my secure lock-up if you bring me a check. Method of payment is bank wire transfer, cashiers checks are held for 10 business days, or other methods we both agree on.
