Vehicle Detail
Here we have a Lancia Scorpion which was owned by Alfred Cosentino for over 20 years, the car is needing restoration but it would be a very good start for a project and it has great history which would make this car very collectable. We believe the car to be an early production number. The car has been a California car for many years and was last running 8 years ago, the car has small amount of rust in the corners of the front hood and a small amount in the rear wheel arches and battery tray. The car is missing one rear light and front and rear grilles and both bumpers. The front windscreen is cracked, it comes with a spare set of headlight buckets. The car has 5 original alloy Lancia mag wheels as pictured. The winning bidder has the option of buying Euro bumpers for the car for the additional cost of $800. The car comes with front left and right air dams and the original fibreglass factory moulds for reproduction. This was going to be Alfreds next Scorpion project, but due to health reasons this never eventuated. Pick up from Westlake Village CA. The car comes with a bill of sale and an original registration paper in Alfreds name. Any enquires please call Mike on 310 745 7700 This is a very worth while restoration project as it was has the right history being owned by Alfred Cosentino, which makes it worth your time and effort. On Aug-14-11 at 00:27:42 PDT, seller added the following information: As quoted by Alfred in many of his books, the Lancia Scorpion (Monte Carlo) is the ultimate street machine. Described as being the right size with great handling manners. Who should know better than Alfred Cosentino, a nationwide race driver with endless victories to his name!!
