Offered for sale, the desirable 1983 R100 BMW Air Head, restored by the late Roger Reuben at Motospezial. The bike with the second speedometer has 50,000 miles on it total, and 6,000 miles on the restoration completed in 2006. The frame was restored with powdercoat and the original paint remains on the sheetmetal and fairing showing minimal use though there are some very minor scratches on the sheet metal and one very small crack in the faring at the mirror location that could not be pictured. The only other defect i could locate was a small crack in the rear right turn lens, the seat and tool kit are in perfect factory condition. The tires show decent tread though are older and may need to be replaced. The new owner will also get the owners booklet and warrente cards. The present owner has owned the bike for 27 years and directed the restoration on the motor top end, carburaters clutch and running gear at the cost of $6K.
