I'm selling the truck/SUV I've had for 8 years. It's always been reliable for me and is still running strong. It has the normal wear and tear that a 1997 explorer would have, but other than that it is in good condition. I still drive it 40 miles roundtrip to work everyday, so it is dependable. A/C and heat are working, Cruise Control works, 6 CD changer works. Has new alternator, new exhaust system (both within year). Had a new differential installed two years ago. All new tires added one year ago. Still look great. The mileage is 208044, but I'm still driving so it will be a bit higher. Major issues: Just had the truck taken to the shop and looked over Right Front wheel bearing needs replaced - Est. $500 fix New water pump needed to fix coolant leak - Est. $400 fix New front brakes needed before next inspection There are a few minor issues to note: One of the speakers has blown and crackles when music played to high, otherwise it's not noticeable. The interior is worn and some places has started to peel, cut and crack. Driver side lock doesn't unlock the whole car, you must unlock car from passenger door. One of the heat shields fell off, but I still have it. Spare tire lift is broken- have the spare still Could use a tune-up These are all the issues/problems that we know of. I am selling the Explorer As-Is. No warranties, no returns. Cannot gaurantee nothing will happen in the future, but like I mentioned earlier, the truck has been running great for me and it is my daily commute vehicle.
