1961 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88 CONVERTIBLE Here is a very solid, very cool 1961 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88 Convertible. The car has a Oldsmobile 394 cubic inch V8 motor and hydromatic transmission (both are original numbers matching). Only 93,000 original miles! The motor was rebuilt and detailed at 88,000 miles (comes with full documentation and cost $4,500). In addition, the car does have a folder full of receipts for work done over the past 30 years. The car runs strong and shifts great. Brakes work perfect! Car has power steering and power brakes. Mechanically this car is A1 and has been lovingly maintained. I would consider driving it ANYWHERE with confidence! The car has an older re-paint (in original white) that is presentable but is not perfect (paint is a bit dull in spots and rear quarters appear to have had some body work in front of the wheels). The bumpers and chrome are original and in good shape. Front bumper does have some rust on bottom section. But here again presentable as a driver. The car was undercoated well and the frame, floors and trunk areas are all solid. The original dash, seats and door panels are in great shape (drivers seat are does have a small split)front. Everything works on this car including the wipers,dash lights lights, power top, courtesy lights, dummy lights, horn and gauges. Even the original radio works as well as the old school FM converter! The power top works great. Convertible top is newer and in great (like new) shape. Correct original wheel covers. Radial tires still have about 70% tread. Also comes with new top boot cover, car cover and all original owners manuals and Protect-O-Plate. Car comes with original jack and a Montgomery Ward Poly spare tire. Car really is a blast to drive!
