1987 BMW 325i E30 convertible 2.5liter straight six motor with 5 speed manual transmission. 94k miles from new, 1 recorded owner from new. Exterior in very good condition, no rust, only a couple of very very minor little dings. Top was new 5 years ago , car has hardly been driven since.The top is manual. New battery this June. Everything is good, drives absolutely gorgeous. AC blows cool but not ice cold, yes I think it does only need freon as compressor kicks in and it gets cool, was converted to r134 about 6 years ago. Radio is locked up at this time as I stupidly kept trying to enter the wrong code and after 3 attempts it locks up and needs to be left with power on for 1 hour before trying again. Dont have that patience...lol but do have the correct code now! All windows work well, mirrors, the rear view mirror fell off about 2 weeks ago! I have it and will try to reglue it back before auction end. All gauges work, even the trip computer still works! Interior is fair for age, some wear in leather and a couple of splits, dash is perfect, even has its original BMW floor mats! All tools, jack etc are in the trunk including full size spare. Car does not really need anything, maybe top the freon up( if I get time I may even do this) Drive anywhere! Car will be sold with no reserve so please bid accordingly! On Aug-08-11 at 01:50:53 PDT, seller added the following information: Quick update to the AC system, I found I had a small can of r134 with leak sealer and uv dye on the garage shelf so I added this last night and it made a considerable difference. While maybe not being ice cold as compared with a modern system for a 24 year old car it is pretty damn cold! I even had to turn it up a bit this morning! So basicly, fully functioning cold air conditioning! On Aug-11-11 at 17:59:31 PDT, seller added the following information: To everybody who keeps asking the same question wish i could explain the mileage disparity but I cant! odo shows 94500 now have receipts that tally with lower mileage that came with the car. car is definitely not a high mileage car by all the obvious signs. one older lady owner from new who even if she knew how to clock it would not have! cant explain sorry! I also noticed today that the odo is not even working at all! So as stated earlier, car is being sold as what it is, a nice old Beemer convertible with one owner but exempt from miles as stated on title anyway. Thanks!
