This is a 1964 Impala convertible. It has been garaged for all but the first 5 years of its life. The car is completely operational, motor is a small block chevy and runs good. Automatic transmission, that does leak from one of the seals. I have upgraded the car with new front disc brakes and a new power booster and master cylinder. I have also added an Airride suspension with 4 airbags replacing the 4 coil springs. The airride suspension is controlled by switches on the dashboard and it has a 5 gallon air tank, air compressor, air valves and air controllers mounted in the trunk. The convertible top is power operated. The black top in the picture is the original top, I purchased a buckskin colored replacement top but never got it mounted, that replacement top comes with the car. I had the car media blasted a few years ago and sprayed it with a metal etching primer. There are a few spots that have small rust, most have been repaired by the previous owner. There is also some body filler in a couple of locations. The body is very straight and will only need some repairs before it can be quickly ready for paint. There was some rust through on the floorboards which was repaired by the previous owner. He did not use replacement panels, he welded in flat steel sheet to fill the holes. The floorboards are very solid now. I think I have all the side trim, lights, bezels, etc. I might not have 100% of everything, but I do believe I might. The side windows have some surface rust on the chrome trim around the windows. The bumpers are solid, but could use a re-chrome. I have the front grill and the rear trim, it could all use a polishing, but its in decent shape. I have the original seats and door panels, which are in pretty good shape and can be used as-is, or can be re-done. I am selling this vehicle because I have a 2 car garage in this house and I have a 57 chevy parked next to it. I do not have any room to work on the cars with both of them in there. So if you are thinking about offering me a vehicle in trade, I will probably say "no", but might listen if its an v-twin bike in great shape.
