Description You are looking at a nice original 1997 Jeep Wrangler Sport 4.0 6 cylinder 5 speed that has been garage kept. Please scroll down to see all 100 photos of the jeep. If you cannot scroll down, try a different browser as Firefox many times has issues with displaying the photos. Condition Details: This jeep has original paint except for the doors. It was originally ordered from the factory with half doors. The owner wanted full doors and the dealer swapped them. The rest of the finish is all original and nice considering the age. There are a few rust bubbles starting on the top of the driver fender. Other than that and a few nicks and scratches, it is superb. The wheels and tires are Rubicon, it has a brand new battery, starter, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, distributor, and air filter. I am also including a new serpentine belt and idler pulley. The car has the original radiator that has cooling fins that are deteriorating from age, but it doesn't leak or overheat. The steering box is tight without rust issues. It starts, runs and drives well considering the age. The mileage is original.There is a soft top in good shape with only one minor rip (in photo) but no hard top. What does the jeep need? While it runs well, it starts a bit hard at times, due to a check valve above the gas tank that should probably be replaced. There are no holes under the jeep, but it has been driven some winters. These jeep are getting really hard to find, especially with original paint and well cared for. Best of all, there is NO reserve. We will let the market determine the value of this classic jeep.
