Here is a very nice 1981 Delorean that has been well taken care of its entire life. This car has many new parts on it and all service has been done by a BMW Master Tech. In the Pictures I have a missing shifter boot. I just ordered a brand new one and will be on the car before the buyer picks it up. This car was from Southern Kentucky so it is mainly rust free. The car has never been out in the snow and has always been stored in a heated garage. The Interior is nice. All guages work, Dash is not cracked and in very nice shape. The driver seat has a tiny rip near the bottom, but its hard to notice. The Car has always had regular oil changes done as well. Body looks perfect. All jams look good and its straight. New fuel accumulator was put on the car, and the system was cleaned out. The entire clutch and clutch lines were replaced as well. New master, slave, clutch, and all new stainless clutch lines were added to the car. This was a huge job. New high amp Alternator and fuel pressure regulator was replaced on the car. Parts were ordered from Special T AutoAll new belts and hoses. The water pump was also replaced at 50,000 miles.New rack and pinion from Special T auto was put on this year about 2,000 miles ago.New Spax adjustible shocks were just put on the front of the car this week. You can adjust them for an easier or harder ride.Rear shocks were replaced last august. They Monroes.New Brakes, Rotors, and bearings done all around the car. The A/c was serviced and completely gone through by BMW. New compressor and I have the new hoses, they are not installed but I will include them in the auction. The old ones were pressure tested and came out to be very good.The shifter linkage was lubed, new bushings installed and a custom fabricated crossgate bracket was installed to ensure easy shifting and a break free future. I have a new shifter cable that will come with the car. Bought it and never needed it. New Blower motor from special T auto was installed.Custom DMC windshield headerChrome wheels. These really look good on the car.Newer eclispe radio installed with Ipod jack. I did the rear speakers with 6x9s and the front I have custom speaker hubs to hold the 6.5s. The rear speakers are big and stick out a little, I will include some really nice boss 4x10s to replace them if you want. I personally like the 6x9s. Replacing the rear speakers are easier then you think. Newer door lift pistons replaced last year. Soft lift.High performance fans in the front by wings b cool.New speedo kit from Delorean Houston was installed this year. everything is stainless and looks great and works great.Service was all done by a BMW TechThere is a lockzilla system installed except I dont like it, it jams the lock on the passenger side sometimes. Manually all locks work perfect, no problems. Front and rear facisa were replaced a few years ago. New Overflow Tank StainlessLeft Taillight board is new as well.New procell battery.New weather striping on both doors from special T auto. I have an extra one also ill send along with the car. The Last thing Needed- The car does pull left a little still and vibrates a bit. It is going to need another front end alingment, however it is still very much drivable and still drives nice No worries there. At the end of the auction a 500$ deposit is needed via paypal.
