Vehicle Detail

This car is an old project of mine but I have since moved on to a newer Mustang. I bought the car used at Mileage: 42440 and am now selling it at Mileage: 96190. I wish to sell this car AS-IS. The body is in immaculate condition and it drove well for many years. The only problem with the car is a small leak in the engine that the shop wasn’t able to seal. I was told the leak was between the lower-intake manifold and the heads. This car can be driven good as new with a simple replace of one of those parts (a repair shop could tell you which) or even used to house the transplant of a newer replacement engine. The car was tuned with a racing tune from VMP Tuning using the SCT Xcalibrator. That tuner is being thrown in with the car and can be used for many other vehicles. You need only flash the computer back to stock with the Xcalibrator in order to “unlock” it from this Mustang. The current tune requires you use premium fuel for maximum performance. The tune also adjusted the shift points and made them firmer while also removing speed and rev limiters. This was by far the funnest performance mod I added to the car and I’m passing it on to the car’s new owner. Despite the small leak with the engine, the car is still driveable (though a little noisier and shakier than usual). The battery was recently charged back up after having been dead a while so a new battery will probably be needed soon. The car is being stored at my home in Rio Rancho while I am out of state for work. The buyer will need to coordinate with my house-watcher to arrange a pickup time and date. His contact information will be provided upon full-payment received. The Kelly Blue Book lists this year Mustang with its mileage at around $4590 in good condition, but since there is a small engine issue, I will only consider the immaculate body plus all the performance mods added in and start the bid at $3000 as a newer replacement engine can be bought and installed for $1590 or less.Regarding the pictures below, I had my friend take the most up-to-date pictures for me but his angles didn't show a full view of how the car looked so I included some older pictures as well to show off more aspects of the car. ONLY THE 7 PICTURES WITH THE TIMESTAMP ARE CURRENT. As such, the car no longer has the matching 8000k HID fog lights nor does it have the 18" Saleen wheels anymore. The red front brakes were the original V6 brakes painted, they've since been upgraded to 13" rotors with Mach 1 calipers. The stereo, gauges, and hood/underchassis neon are all still on the car though. The full list of the mods still on the car are listed below. To the winning bidder: I have an authentic, full Saleen body kit in storage as well (Front bumper, Rear bumper, Side rocker panels, and a Saleen hood scoop insert) that I never got around to installing. It is still new in the box that was shipped to me. I will toss it in for an extra $500 (about $1500 less than I bought it for) at the buyer’s request to be picked up with the car. This would be great if you wish to leave the more unique look and go straight Saleen. There is no reserve on this car.
