1998 Honda Interceptor

Original 1 owner since new 31 miles, 31 miles - Not a typo- that is thirty-one miles since new!!! Why only 31 miles? I own a manufacturing company called Hot Grips and we manufacture heated grips for motorcycles. I bought the bike new in 1998 from Valley Motorsports of Northampton, MA for use to test various models of heated grips for my company. Unfortunately my 9 years of off-road enduro competition came back to haunt me with lower back pain when riding the VFR. I bought the Heli-bars and that helped a little bit, but I ended up just never using the bike. I filled it up to the top with gas and installed Stabil, and then in 2005 changed the gas to fresh fuel and again Stabil. It starts instantly though probably could use a fresh tank of gasoline. I put a little bit of Techron in the tank for good measure to keep the injectors clean. Also have a 2003 Honda ST-1300 sport-touring bike thinking that the more upright position would help my back pain. It didn't and that bike has an original total one owner miles of 70 on the odometer, for sale now on eBay. The ST-1300 ironically won't start, because I think I did not have the fuel tank topped up the past 8 years. I have to bring the ST-1300 into a local repair shop and have the fuel injectors cleaned professionally. never dropped. Heli Bars Heated grips 1" thick Honda factory shop manual original owner's manual, original tool kit under seat. Starts and runs fine, gas stabilizer did its job. Clear Montana title, though always located in NH, registered in MT with permanent motorcycle plates. I encourage any buyer to come and look at the bike, have it inspected by a local motorcycle repair shop if you want. There are no local Honda dealers in this area, closest one is an hour away in Concord, NH but there are local motorcycle repair garages such as Hale's Garage in Lebanon, NH.
