Offered is a 1928 Ford Model A pickup that was completly restored by a body shop that has done numerous Model A restorations. This pickup was owned by the owner of that shop and was his own personal vehichle. Due to a divorce it was sold. Now to avoid the probability of a divorce in my family it is for sale again. My wife has been so happy about this purchase she was speechless for several days. Now that she has gotten over the speechless part the Model A needs to find a new home. We have driven the pickup around and it runs great and never fails to get a thumbs up on the road. The Old Taters will all tell you a story about one they had, kinda fun.There was no expense spared in restoring this pickup. He started with a rust free barn find and then went from there. I have not found anything that I felt had been overlooked in the restoration. The engine was machine shop rebuilt with new poured bearings and nearly all internal components new. Recently I put a new sealed bearing waterpump and had the radiator repaired. The engine could stand to have the paint touched up where it is peeling. There are 504 miles on this unit since it was done. On to the body there is an idiot hood scratch on the cowl, done at an old car gathering by some id----t! There are 3 or 4 cracks in the paint on the black lower body skirt? There are also a few chips in the paint from gravel and such. All in all a very nice restored Model A We are not going to do the reserve BS. This unit will sell If you are an Anal pickapart sorta guy don't bother about bidding, I will not put up with you.
