I have papers back to original importer to North America and can tell the story to those interested in knowing how this vehicle came to be here. Factory towing kit installed, fabric top and cage for the rear, NAS light kit and Speedometer in miles installed. Rust is not an issue on this vehicle. I find no traces of it in the normal locations (frame, lower bulkhead, doors, etc.), will take pictures of any area you wish. Cd player. This is not a rebuilt, but factory original vehicle with under 18,000 miles on all parts (engine, tranni, drive train, frame, suspension, etc) Drives at 70 Miles per hour comfortably and up to 85 if necessary while maintaining 25 miles per gallon (it will get in excess of 30 miles per gallon at slower speeds.) The negatives are the AC and blower motor don't work, body work and paint job are not perfect and you can see dings at various points. It drives well and I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. On Aug-02-11 at 08:35:27 PDT, seller added the following information: I have worked on the A/C system and now have the blower fan working (found the right switch device from Land Rover.) I hope to get a chance before the end of the auction to look into the rest of the system. On Aug-02-11 at 17:02:09 PDT, seller added the following information: I worked on the Air Conditioning today (Tuesday) and it now works. I think that with the switch I replaced for the fan it now allows the power for the A/C. I pulled a vacuum on the system, replenished the R134A in the system with some oilper factory specs and the compressor kicked on without a problem once the pressure was up. The air comes out cool but there are still a few details to work out in the system. The blend doors or the doors that send the air to various locations (IE feet, defrost, dashboard) are stuck and only 2 of the 4 different settings for fan speed are working. I just wanted to make sure that the system is operational or repairable. I can now say that the Air Con is working. If time permits I will get the rest operational for the next owner. Happy bidding...
