It is a shortened version of a 1990 Dodge 1 ton that was used by the U.S. military as an airfield tug. It has the 5.9L Cummins Turbo Diesel engine with less than 45,000 miles on it. I have never seen a cleaner engine on one of these trucks. Please look at the pictures; this is a great engine. The truck body is also in great shape. It is virtually rust free. It is rare to see one of these trucks in such great shape. The paint itself is a matt army green color. Not a shiny paint job but tough and durable. This truck is built on a short frame and has a very short square flat box with a small toolbox on top. It is very heavy. around 7000 pounds. It was built this way for traction and strength for towing heavy loads around the airfield. It has very low gearing. I believe it is a 7.11:1 rear axle which limits it road speed (35mph or so). But, this low gearing transmits the great torque and power of the Cummins straight to the ground giving it tons (I believe 45,000lbs flat towing) of towing capacity. It has full suspension on it. The rear axle has a large number of leafs in the leaf springs and has shocks. This is a great all around truck. It runs and drives great. It is perfect for anything from short distance hauling of heavy loads, to an axle swap or engine swap for another vehicle. This vehicle has a clear title.
