Up for your consideration is one of the nicer C4 Convertibles around. Don't let the miles scare you for a second. I'm the 2nd owner of this American drop top and have owned it since 2000. The original owner was a lady who had a 160 mile round trip commute from Orange County to San Diego so a majority of the miles are easy highway cruising. Needless to say, when I took over the keys it spent more time in the garage than it did on the road. Born and raised in Southern California, there is a good reason why everybody wants a California car......... their just look better, longer. Dealer serviced and maintained all of it's life, recent belts and hoses replaced along with the brakes. This car runs as good as it did 11 years ago, always starts up fast, no smoke, no oil burning or leaks. Transmission works perfectly, shifts are smooth and crisp whether you're just cruising or giving it the gas. Speaking of gas, I've averaged about 22mpg out of this machine since I've owned it. Incredible when you think about the fact that this 5.7 LT1 V8 puts out over 300 hp. Speaking of the motor, it's been babied with Mobil 1 synthetic oil it's whole life, every 3000 miles like clockwork. It purrs like a kitten still and sounds amazing with the Borla exhaust, subtle but very nice to the ears. The factory paint still shines like it should, it's never seen any body work, it's never even seen a bottle of touch up paint. The tan leather interior has held up really well, the dash and console is clean and crack free. Everything works on it!! All the power buttons, from the seats to the windows, radio, climate control and cruise control all work like they should. The 5 spoke 17 inch Chrome Alloys are the ZR1 style which are blemish free and still look cool today in the age of 20's and 22's I really thought I'd keep this car forever, that's why I've taken such good care of it. However, life has thrown me a few curveballs.... I have a toddler who needs his family wagon to get around and my wife has finally won the battle of who gets to park in the garage. So, here it is, my C4 Corvette that needs a home and someones face to put a big smile on. I'm not desperate to sell it, but I would like to see it go quickly before I change both my mind and my wife's.
