1962 Buick Skylark Convertable. 215 V-8, 200HP all aluminum block, 2 speed auto trans (simular to powerglide). I have owned it since 1991, my folks owned it since the 80's This is a diamond in the rough for sure. She needs lots of TLC, but when done, you won't see many (if any)others on the street. Shortcomings: Brakes leak, fuel filter needs to be replaced, I rebuilt the rochester carb, and it never quite ran the same. interior needs overhaul. hydraulics for roof do not work. bondo on the left rear. Good stuff: engine rebuilt and sleeved with stainless so can burn unleaded. Trany rebuilt to, with less then 300 miles on it afterwards. tons of other parts and even the dash clock. Radio works, but have newer CD/killer speakers w/remote. lots of amazing literature, articals, manuals, and even the original owners manual. email me and we will discuss it. Don't buy someone elses finished dream, do your own right.
