Up For Auction is a Rebuilt Model "A" Frame!! It has a '30 '31 Cowl with the windshield posts cut off. Factory gas tank is rusted out. Cowl has some rust and dents. This is a complete & running 1931 Ford Model-A Chassis removed from a pickup that was a Daily Driver a few years ago. It has been in dry storage up until about a year ago. It has been next to my Barn under a tarp. I bought it from a guy who had re-built it with a friend and driven it often, but just wanted more power so bought a new aftermarket hot rod frame. Know that this chassis is the same for the 1928, 1929, 1930 & 1931 Model "A" Fords in Coupe, Sedan, Roadster & Pickup Truck & can be used for any of the above mentioned. The chassis is complete with Exhaust, Brakes & fresh running Motor & Drivetrain with 3 Speed Transmission, Clutch Assembly, Radiator, Re-Wired to 12 Volt, Rebuilt Starter & GM 1 Wire Alternator! All the Rods, Linkages, ETC are there & working. It cranks over and starts easily. It has an updated Pertronixs 12 Volt Ignition System. It has a Cool AfterMarket Heat Box. Just add Fuel to the little "make shift" firewall mounted gas tank, pull the "Temporary" choke rod, Turn the Key to "on" Hit the Starter button & it fires right up. Throttle on Column and gas pedal on floor. There is a crack on one of the ears on the intake manifold that the carburator bolts to. I will include another intake manifold. Not sure if the distributor advance on the column still works with the Pertronix system. It is still hooked up and moves the distributor. I would start it up once in a while for the amazement of my friends. She purred like a kitten until the exaust manifold gasket fell apart (from sitting). Now it roars like a Lion! It will need a new gasket! It has anti-freeze and holds water in the system. Front Tires are reproduction and like new. Back tires are rollers I also have the two matching rear wheels with only one matching tire. I will include in the auction! If you are restoring or Building a Hot rod or Rat Rod or a Model-A, this chassis could easily get you on the road! It has basic wiring to start and run. The other wiring is there but disconnected.
