I rode this bike regularly until three years ago when I put it up and decided to restore it. It has been parked in my garage ever since. It is currently not running but it is complete. I no longer have the time or desire to restore this bike and I want the garage space back for other projects. The bike has dual mirrors, Hella bar-end turn signals, a Wixom fairing with mounting hardware and 2 seats, a Denfeld bicycle type seat in place and dual seat which can replace the Denfeld if you want to ride tandem. There are extra items included, the BMW repair manual printed in German and English, a Clymer repair manual for the R-50, an original parts catalog with exploded views to make part ordering a little less of a headache and a wiring diagram. I am also including some new original tank BMW badges with rubber backing, a rear brake shoe, a 6 volt battery with a new mounting strap and a brake lever. Obviously a key is included too. It has the original black and yellow California license plate. The title is clear and the bike is registered as non operating. Those documents can be seen in the photo. The bike is in rough shape. It does not run now but was running fine when I parked it. There is surface rust on the frame where ever the paint has chipped. I have provided close-ups of the worst of it. The engine housing is tarnished. There is some rust on the wire spokes. The tires hold air but should be replaced because of their age. This bike will require a fair amount of work to return it to operating status.
