HERE'S A GREAT RUNNING,DRIVING EXAMPLE OF DESIRED STRAIGHT AXEL VETTE. WHEN I PURCHASED THE CAR IN 2003 I WAS TOLD IT WAS A 2 OWNER ALL ORIGINAL CAR. I HAD A NEW DASH PAD,NEW WINDSHIELD RUBBER,NEW TOP AND TOP BOWS POWDER COATED AFTER PURCHASING IT.EVERYTHING WORKS ON THE CAR AND IT EVEN HAS AN ALARM INSTALLED THAT WORKS GREAT WHEN THE CAR IS MESSED WITH.THE SEATS AND DOOR PANELS ARE ORIGINAL AND IN VERY NICE SHAPE, AS IS THE TRUNK COMPARTMENT.I ALSO HAVE A MATCHING HARDTOP IN GREAT CONDITION THAT WILL GO WITH THE CAR.I OWN 3 OTHER STRAIGHT AXEL VETTES AND A FEW OTHER CARS AND REALLY DON'T ENJOY THE HOBBY AS I ONCE DID SO I WILL BE SELLING THIS AND A COUPLE OTHER OF MY COLLECTION IN THE NEAR FUTURE. I DON'T BELIEVE I HAVE PUT 1000 MILES ON THIS CAR SINCE PURCHASING IT AND NOTICED I NEVER EVEN TITLED IT SO THE TITLE IS STILL OPEN.THE JACK AND TOOLS ARE ALSO WITH THE CAR AS WELL AS THE ORIGINAL RADIO, A CASSETE STERIO IS INSTALLED NOW AND PLAYS GREAT. SO IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A NICE,CLEAN ORIGINAL VETTE THAT IS COMPLETE THIS ONE IS FOR YOU. I WILL POST MORE PICS OF THE CAR ON MONDAY SHOWING BETTER THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT,TRUNK AND INTERIOR. I DID CLEAN UP AND PAINT THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT FOR LOCAL SHOWS. IT SURE DOES ATTRACT ATTENTION WHENEVER I TAKE IT OUT. I HAVE NEVER PUT THE NEW TOP DOWN SINCE IT WAS INSTALLED!!! THE RADIO IS ALSO REALLY NICE SO HOPE THIS ANSWERS ALL QUESTIONS.On Jul-28-11 at 14:32:11 PDT, seller added the following information: I,ve been asked a lot of questions. the car is numbers matching with the serial number on the pad with FO22IDG indicating it's a 61 230 automatic ,the serial 106044 is on the lower portion of the pad. I checked the generator and its matching also 1102043, the carb is an early carb couldn't determine the number but I believe it's original as I would guess the rest are numbers matching also. I could only post one more pic and it shows a dirty partially undercoated from factory frame with 50 years of dirt and some surface rust, nowhere is there any flaking or repairs even the rear crossmeber frame obove the rear axel is ok.I don't know what else to say as I have repeadetly stated this is a very nice,clean original vette with a lot if not all major original equipement on the car..
