Up for auction is my 1975 Mercedes Benz 200 W115 model. It has the 2 liter 4 cylinder gasoline engine with an automatic transmission. I am the second owner of the car. I personally purchased the car in 1998 from the first owner in Wiesbaden, Germany, and had it flown back to the US when I move back in 2001. This is a true european specification car. Mercedes Benz did import the W115 body style to North America, but not with the 2 liter engine, the smallest available on this side of the ocean was 2.3 liters. This is truely a unique car on this side of the ocean! Being a true european version, it has NO air conditioning, but does have the factory installed manual sunroof. The car is all original with no rust! The interior is mint with no rips or tears anywhere. The car has never been smoked in, and everything works as it should.The exterior is also in excellent condition. The small european bumpers and H4 Hella headlights make this car stand out from the rest you see in the US. I have all the original owners manuals and service book, in German of course. The original Becker Europa radio works like new as well. The original first aid kit including the original contents as well as the original fire extinguisher are there as well. The original unused Metzeler spare tire is in the trunk, along with the original unused tool kit. The trunk looks as if there has never been anything in it! The dashboard has NO cracks anywhere, truly a rarity in these cars! You will have to look far and wide to find a W115 sedan as nice as this one! It currently has about 104000KM on the odometer, so around 65000 miles. The current tail lights are from a 1972 model, but I have the original taillights and they come with the car. PLEASE NOTE- the steering wheel shown in the pictures DOES NOT come with the car. I have the original mint condition steering wheel that will be included. I will not ship the car. I personally drove it from Dallas, Texas, down to Fort Myers, Florida and back up to Michigan without any problems. It runs smooth and the transmissin shifts like a Mercedes Benz should!
