1957 Mercedes Benz 220 S Ponton with factory Webasto sunroof and four speed manual transmission. This car is restored back to it's original glory with no expenses spared. 100% rust free California numbers-matching car, delivered October 29, 1957 to San Francisco, California. All work performed on the car was done by factory trained Mercedes-Benz master mechanics. The car is finished with beautiful deep black paint, red Connoley leather seats, and red Wilton wool carpet. This car looks and drives fantastic. It has no mechanical or cosmetic issues, it is ready to show or drive and enjoy. Below is a partial list of what was done to the car: Body was striped to bare metal, primed and painted by Brace's Auto Body and Paint in Marina Del Ray, Ca. Please note the reflections on this car to see just how straight the body is. I have never seen one strighter. Has never had any rust issues at all. Restored to original factory spec's, please look at the build sheet from Mercedes Benz on this site. All glass is clear and damage free, with new rubbers. Restoration has just been completed. Gas tank was removed, cleaned and lined. No leaks of any kind anywhere. Very solid and tight car.
