Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is a 1930 Model A Rat Rod. I started out with a bare body and chopped the roof 4 inches and channeled the floor 4 inches as well. I used a 2x3 boxed steel custom frame that I Z'd in the front 8" and 12" in the rear. The front end is a Speedway mono leafed dropped axle with radius arms and 4 1/2" bolt pattern rotors. Vega steering box with a GM column. The radiator is aluminum and runs 190 degrees all day long. The drive tran is out of a 1997 Mercury couger. Motor is a 4.6L that is fuel injected with a custom Ron Francis wire harness that runs the injection system and has a 12 circut fuse panel for the car. It has a set of custom BBK Aluminum valve covers. The headers are home made with Super trapp mufflers. The rear end is a independent center transaxle with a posi unit. (unsure of the gear ratio). I used billet aluminum adapters to convert the rear axle bolt pattern to 4 1/2" as well. Transmission is stock unit with overdrive. The headlights I believe are out of a 1946 Chevy, and the tailights are out of a 1964 Ford Galaxy and the grille is 1939 Plymonth. The fuel tank is full size Keg unit with a stock sending unit. Interior is unique because I used speed limit signs for the floor boards and door panels. The seat is custom made aluminum bench seat. The seat sits ontop of the floor boards but has a drive shaft hump between the seats that makes it look like seperate bomber seats. There are lap belts and a roll bar. It is built very tuff and looks awesome. It has a front windshield made with safety glass with no other glass in the car. The roof of the car is left open, for you to finish to your liking. Leave open, soft top, solid panel or what ever you want. The rims are steel with chrome rings and hub caps. I don't remember the tire sizes (15" rims) but email if you are concerned. This car runs very good and is very reliable. It will cruize at 35 mph in town or 70 mph down the highway. NOW PAY ATTENTION: What the cars does not have is: wiper, backup lights, emergency brake, radio, top, air conditioning , back seat and speed-0-meter cable. The car from the ground to the top of the roof measures 45 inches. Now thats awesome. I do have a New York State transferable registration for this car. Please feel free to email with questions and I will answer as soon as I can. I am selling this for a friend of mine. THIS IS FOR SALE LOCALLY AND I HAVE THE RIGHT TO END AUCTION EARLY IF IT SELLS. Please call if you have serious questions or concerns. 607-857-9840. Thank you for looking and good luck bidding.
