He told her it would be mine once I turned 16 in 1986. 1986 came and went and I never got the car. Although he never had the money or time to restore it properly, he garaged it religiously up until he died about 3 years ago when I inherited it . I just dont have the passion or the time or the money to do the car justice. If you do, here is a GREAT opportunity. 1957 Chevy Belaire 4-door, original 283 V8, original 2 speed tranny, original frame, original carb, body. The only things NOT original are the exhaust and the fuel tank and it does not have the oil-bath air filter. 1800 miles on the rebuilt engine, thats right. 1800. less than 1800 miles on the whitewall tires. The car runs strong, all the lights light, signals signal, the gauges gauge, and the AM radio (with the original TUBES) works once it warms up. The seats have been reupholstered.
