Steering:- New steering shaft with new Stainless Steel U-joints- New steering box Tires: - 33x12.50x15 Yokohama's on Aluminum Wheels. Gauges:- Mechanical Oil Pressure- Wide Band A/F meter Misc.: - New brakes last year - NO LEAKS - Well maintained Truck runs VERY well!! Aggressive exhaust tone and gets 20 MPG. This truck turns heads everywhere I go with it. EXTREMELY RELIABLE. Aside from the time this engine swap was being completed it has been my daily driver since 1999. The bulk of the work listed above was completed in the winter of 2008. My dad bought this truck new in 1979. Not once did it EVER leave us stranded. It has been well maintained. Make no mistake, to return this truck to "cherry" it will need some work. The body has some rust and there are some small dents on passenger side door and one on the bed. The gauge cluster will need some work as well. I had plans of building a custom gauge cluster but have not done that yet. The upholstery is nice for the age of truck. The paint is from the only time this truck has seen a body shop (1991). FOR SALE OR TRADE There are more than $8,500 in parts in this truck and the labor cost for this project was over $10,000. For the buyer I will provide a list (with part numbers) of all parts so part replacement is easy. UPDATE: Last week a woman ran into my rear bumper and bent it. For this reason I have reduced the price. I do not have pictures of this yet but email me and I will get them for you.On Jul-19-11 at 23:01:51 PDT, seller added the following information: VIDEOS AVAILABLE:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yJqZXWXuA48http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EulcEk3UU5UOn Jul-24-11 at 21:02:12 PDT, seller added the following information: EXTRA PARTS given with sale of this truck:- chrome body trim piece ($ value)- BRAND NEW spare tire, identical to tires on truck ($130 value)- All the factory air conditioning parts ($$$ value)- SCT Xcalibrator 2 for data logging or reprogramming of the computer ($399)- Caravan Top Camper Shell, painted to match, good condition. ($500 value, estimated) - Replacement high flow fuel filter- Much more... NOTE: I placed a $5500 "Buy It Now" price on this auction at the very beginning, but it is not showing up in the ad. Areas of the body need some work as you can see from the pictures, but for the amount of work and parts in this truck that is truly a deal. Mechanically this truck is nearly brand new.On Jul-26-11 at 22:01:57 PDT, seller added the following information: Remembered today that I have the original 1979 OEM shop manual for this truck. That goes too. Added a picture of the camper shell.
