Here is a chance to own a rare and beautiful car. This is a 1956 Austin Healey Hundred that has been fitted with all M Specifications. This car has Dayton chrome wire wheels with Avon tires. The car has been extensively updated and includes a rebuilt motor with M pistons and Cam, with an aluminum head and aluminum radiator. This car has the M intake and carbs with the cold air box. The transmission has been rebuilt along with the overdrive. The gauges were also restored and has the 140 mph speedo. All rusted panels were replaced including rockers, floor pans, trunk and gas tank. This a a very fast and beautiful car, and has won Best Foreign at Car d'Lane two years and first place for Healeys at Britbull for two years and a second place. The only issues I have with the car is if it sets for a couple of weeks it takes longer than normal to start, but then starts great from then on. And the second is that if you drive it a long time, it will diesel when shut off. Buyer is responsiable for pick up. It was built November 18, 1955. listed equipment was a laminated windscrean and a heater. The car sold new in Phoenix AZ in 1957 and went through two other owner before my dad bought it in 1981. From there my dad and I had the car painted Coca Cola brown and took it to several car shows throughout the area, and I had my picture taken with Donald Healey next to the car. I then bought the car from mny day about five years ago and started updateing it. I am downloading a video of the car to Youtube and you shold be able to view it today. The wiring harness is new and is cloth covered. The top is also newer and has never been up. While doing the video I found that when the right turn signal is put on all four turn signals flash??? but works fine turning left. I am including a few boxes of original parts removed from car, several new misc items, a header made by Cape International in England and a new stainless steel exhaust system. Most every part on the car is new except for the suspension.
