Highly optioned with 396/325HP engine, Turbo 400 Automatic Transmission, 12 Bolt Rear End, Dual Exhaust, Super Sport package, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Convertible Top, Factory Air Conditioning, Tinted Glass, Push Button AM Radio, Tachometer, Full Console, and Front and Rear Seatbelts. Body on restoration fifteen years ago and painted Regal Red. Factory original color was Madeira Maroon. Black vinyl bucket seat interior with black power convertible top. The 396 Engine is a Factory GM "CE or counter exchage" block that was more than likely replaced under warranty early on. The transmission has also been upgraded from a powerglide to a turbo 400. The SS Chevelle still retains it's factory 12 Bolt rear end. This real SS 396 Chevelle has recently been released from the previous collector of twelve years. Outside and inside appearance is very good. The Chevelle has been enjoyed sparingly and garage kept in climate controlled storage. The car starts, runs, and drives great. Power and driveability are excellent. Factory power steering and power brakes adds to the wonderful experience. The factory power top operates with ease and the factory a/c blows cold.
