This is as rare as it gets in the Turbo Buick community. There were only 1,921 intercooled T-Types ever made as seen here: http://www.gnttype.org/general/product.html and of those only a select few were made with bench seats and column shifters. I've owned about 30 of these cars and have never owned one with a bench seat and column shifter prior to this car. I've been to plenty of car shows and meets....I've only seen two in my life. That being said, the car goes on to have the most desired G80 limited slip option and the rarest option available on these cars......Electronic Digital Touch Climate Control. I've never seen one before in my life, and I can't believe they had something like this available in 1987. It was crazy expensive, and like I said...I've only heard of it....I've never even found a picture of it before. The car literally has touch screen controls for the A/C, and it came that way from the factory!!! The car has every single optios I am aware of being able to attain on these cars: T-Tops, power seat, power windows, power locks, cruise control, rear defrost, etc. That being said, I am confident that this is the only white on tan intercooled T-Type with t-tops, limited slip, bench seat, column shifter, digital dash, and digital climate control. You can bring this car to every Turbo Buick show in the country...there isn't going to be another one like it! The interior is immaculate! No holes, rips, or stains in any of the seats or carpet! There is a tiny part in the seam of the arm rest that has come slightly undone...easy fix. There are one or two black spots in the pictures....they were dirt spots that have now been removed. The paint looks great and will reflect all spectators the car is sure to attract. Rust is barely present at all on the car. Extremely minor on the passenger side of the trunk lid, and I mean this is a minor as it gets....just specks on the surface, and very isolated. The only reason I haven't treated it is that I want the new owner to see the car in its purest form and make their own decision as to what direction they want to take the car in. It's completely stock aside from stainless exhaust. The boost has never been past stock levels. The air filter is even stock! A scanmaster computer reader is located on the dash so that you may see the rpms, speed past 85mph, coolant temperature and so on. Any check engine codes will also be displayed on the scanmaster scan tool. The car starts right up and drives like a dream. It makes full power and shifts perfectly! The car will chirp the tires in third gear if you floor it! The engine idles smooth at around 800 rpm's. You have to see the YouTube video below! The power windows go up and down just fine. The power lock switch does not seem to be working. The car has an expensive aftermarket alarm with remote lock/unlock installed by the previous owner. He said the key fob needs a battery, and that he may have disconnected it when he removed the competition stereo system that was installed. All lights work inside and outside of the car. The CD player works perfectly. The electronic climate control is so cool and all of its controls work, but the a/c does blow on the weak side. The bumper fillers are cracked, which is the most common cosmetic issue with these cars. You can get a great fiberglass set for dirt cheap here on eBay. If bidding exceeds $12,000 I will buy/paint/install a front & rear set for you. The turbo was recently rebuilt and operates perfectly! The intercooler scoop cover is even still intact...you almost never find them still on the car. The front rotors are new and upgraded to performance cross-drilled rotors. The brake system has been serviced and updated to a vacuum system. I just made a 1,300 mile trip in this car! It needs absolutely nothing to be a reliable daily driver! No services needed! Tire rubber is great! No overheating, no leaks, no smoking no funny sounds or smells! THIS IS THE DAILY DRIVER YOU'VE BEEN HOLDING OUT FOR! If you want a car that you can drive for years, get a thumbs up at every traffic light, and actually MAKE MONEY when it comes time for you to part ways with it down the road.....then this is your car.
