Up for auction is a 1956 Ford Thunderbird with removable hard top. This was in a collection I found recently and purchased. This was purchased from the original owners in 1965 and was renewed by refurbishing the original engine, installing a bigger cam and holley carb. The outside was painted with lacquer in British racing green. The car was parked in 1969 inside this garage. It was never drove since. the interior is really nice surprisingly. There is some pitting on chrome parts but the lights all come on and the power windows still work. It has 4 way adjustable power seat as well. You can tell it is in need of a restoration, Some rust but overall very very solid. It is a good candidate for a restoration because it is essentially a complete car. feel free to email me with questions and I will answer them as I am able, also if you want specific pictures let me know. On Jul-11-11 at 11:23:09 PDT, seller added the following information: The car turns over, all the power items seem to work, fan, lights, windows, etc need cleaned and lubed. The motors for the seats want to work but need worked out. The tranny is fordomatic. The radio doesn't seem to have power, could be a fuse, Has the Town and Country buttons. THe mileage is at 53k, I will look to see if the title says close to that, the title is from 65.
