Offered for your consideration is this original low milage Beetle. This Classic has been in the same family since it was purchased new at the dealership. It currently has 52,426 miles on it. It has only been driven 10,000 miles since 1984 and 318 miles since Aug. 2005. The vehicle was a gift to the previous owners, both are in their mid 70's, from her mother who purchased it new. In Aug. 2005 the engine was tuned up and new parts installed. Plugs, Points, Rotor, Oil Sensor, Fuel Filter, Hoses, Belts, Pulleys, Gaskets and new German Running Boards, cost was over $600.00. It is 12 Volt. In March 2009 the Brakes were gone through replacing the Master Cylinder, Front Wheel Cylinders, Shoes, System Flush and new Fluid, cost was almost $400.00. Aug. 15th 2005 Stylecraft Upholstery of Wichita Ks. installed all new Interior including the Headliner and Sunvisors, cost was over $2,500.00. The vehicle was repainted approx. ten years ago, at which time any rust issues were addressed. The paint, while very presentable, has a few scratches and nicks. The Top is blemmished and has lost it's shine. The Undercarriage is solid, no rust out only surface rust, it should be undercoated. All four Floor Pans are excellent. The only thing that does not work are the Flashers-Turn Signals. I was told that it needs a new 12 Volt Flasher Relay which mounts at the Firewall. It comes with the original owners manual and clear Kansas Title. The reserve is set well below it's value and will be sold to the highest bidder. The auction will not end early due to local sale.
