SORRY BUT OTHER NONE PAYING PEOPLE CAUSED ME TO MAKE THIS STAND ON YOU GUYS.** IF YOU KNOW THESE CARS THERE ARE A COUPLE THINGS THAT ARE TELL YOU IF IT ISA GT OR NOT. THE BEST WAY IS THAT THE GT PACKAGE HAD DUAL EXHAUST AND THE FACTORY HAD THESE EXHAUST HANGERS UNDER THE REAR SEAT THAT HAVE THESE HUGE RIVETS HOLDING THE HANGERS IN. I TOOK A PHOTO TO SHOW THAT, SEE LAST PHOTO. ALSO THE RADIATOR SUPPORT HAS 2 PUNCHED HOLES THAT PRESSED OUT AT FACTORY, SEE PHOTOS. THE FOG LIGHT WIRING IS ALSO CORRECT FOR GT AND THE SWITCH LOCATION. WHEN YOU LOOK AT THE CAR YOU CAN TELL THE INTERIOR WAS NEVER REPAINTED SO YOU CANT SAY SOMEONE ADDED THE EXHAUST HANGERS. THAT HELPS IN REVIEW THAT IT IS A GT AND ALL THE METAL IS FACTORY ORIGINAL WHICH HELPS TOO. SORRY TO YOU GUYS THAT DONT UNDERSTAND WHAT I AM SAYING BUT THOSE UP ON STANGS KNOW THIS STUFF. ENGINE HAS LITTLE EXHAUST LEAK BUT RUNS STRONG AND DRIVES VERY WELL. LAST OWNER JUST BUT BRAKE CALIPERS FRONT AND REAR BRAKES ON AND WHEEL CYLINDERS AND MASTER CYL. SO IT STOPS GREAT. SHIFTS REALLY GOOD TOO. LAST OWNER SAID NOT # MATCHING ENGINE. BODY WAS JUST HIT A FEW WEEKS AGO AND ONLY DAMAGED THE ONE QUARTER. CAR HAS RUST IN ONE FRAME RAIL NEXT TO RIGHT TORQUE BOX THAT IS GONE. THE REAR RAILS HERE PATCHED IN YRS AGO WHEN PAINTED. IT REALLY NEEDS FLOORS AND LIKELY SOME OF THE TRUNK. QUARTERS HAVE RUST , LEFT DOOR AND TRUNK LID. THE FENDERS LOOK LIKE IT MAY HAVE A TINY RUST REPAIR ABOUT 2" AROUND OR SO. ALL THE FRONT FRAMES AND FENDER WELLS AND FIREWALL LOOKS REALLY NICE. TOP AND HOOD REALLY GOOD. GALLS IS GOOD. TRIM GOOD. THE INTERIOR ALL THERE BUT NEED RECOVERED AND PAINTED. THE LAST 3 PHOTOS ARE SOME WAYS TO IDENTIFY THE CAR AS A GT. THE 2 FACTORY PUNCHED HOLES IN THE RADIATOR SUPPORT FOR GT FOG LIGHTS AND THE REAR SEAT REMOVED TO SHOW FACTORY EXHAUST HANGERS FOR DUALS. MARTY REPORTS SHOW 67 AND NEWER FOR GT. NONE FOR 64- 66. HAS RARE REAR MOUNT ANTENNA THAT IS BROKE OFF. AM RADIO IS ON THE FLOOR. ALL LIGHTS AND GAUGES WORK. IT WILL NEED A HEATER CORE. IF YOU KNOW THESE CARS THERE ARE A COUPLE THINGS THAT ARE TELL YOU IF IT ISA GT OR NOT. THE BEST WAY IS THAT THE GT PACKAGE HAD DUAL EXHAUST AND THE FACTORY HAD THESE EXHAUST HANGERS UNDER THE REAR SEAT THAT HAVE THESE HUGE RIVETS HOLDING THE HANGERS IN. I TOOK A PHOTO TO SHOW THAT, SEE LAST PHOTO. ALSO THE RADIATOR SUPPORT HAS 2 PUNCHED HOLES THAT PRESSED OUT AT FACTORY, SEE PHOTOS. THE FOG LIGHT WIRING IS ALSO CORRECT FOR GT AND THE SWITCH LOCATION.
WHEN YOU LOOK AT THE CAR YOU CAN TELL THE INTERIOR WAS NEVER REPAINTED SO YOU CANT SAY SOMEONE ADDED THE EXHAUST HANGERS. THAT HELPS IN REVIEW THAT IT IS A GT AND ALL THE METAL IS FACTORY ORIGINAL WHICH HELPS TOO. SORRY TO YOU GUYS THAT DONT UNDERSTAND WHAT I AM SAYING BUT THOSE UP ON STANGS KNOW THIS STUFF.
ENGINE HAS LITTLE EXHAUST LEAK BUT RUNS STRONG AND DRIVES VERY WELL. LAST OWNER JUST BUT BRAKE CALIPERS FRONT AND REAR BRAKES ON AND WHEEL CYLINDERS AND MASTER CYL. SO IT STOPS GREAT. SHIFTS REALLY GOOD TOO. LAST OWNER SAID NOT # MATCHING ENGINE.
BODY WAS JUST HIT A FEW WEEKS AGO AND ONLY DAMAGED THE ONE QUARTER. CAR HAS RUST IN ONE FRAME RAIL NEXT TO RIGHT TORQUE BOX THAT IS GONE. THE REAR RAILS HERE PATCHED IN YRS AGO WHEN PAINTED. IT REALLY NEEDS FLOORS AND LIKELY SOME OF THE TRUNK. QUARTERS HAVE RUST , LEFT DOOR AND TRUNK LID. THE FENDERS LOOK LIKE IT MAY HAVE A TINY RUST REPAIR ABOUT 2" AROUND OR SO. ALL THE FRONT FRAMES AND FENDER WELLS AND FIREWALL LOOKS REALLY NICE. TOP AND HOOD REALLY GOOD. GALLS IS GOOD. TRIM GOOD. THE INTERIOR ALL THERE BUT NEED RECOVERED AND PAINTED.
THE LAST 3 PHOTOS ARE SOME WAYS TO IDENTIFY THE CAR AS A GT. THE 2 FACTORY PUNCHED HOLES IN THE RADIATOR SUPPORT FOR GT FOG LIGHTS AND THE REAR SEAT REMOVED TO SHOW FACTORY EXHAUST HANGERS FOR DUALS. MARTY REPORTS SHOW 67 AND NEWER FOR GT. NONE FOR 64- 66.
HAS RARE REAR MOUNT ANTENNA THAT IS BROKE OFF. AM RADIO IS ON THE FLOOR.
ALL LIGHTS AND GAUGES WORK. IT WILL NEED A HEATER CORE. THE TIRES ARE THIN BUT IF YOU WANT TO DRIVE HOME ON A SHORT TRIP IT WILL DO GREAT. LONG TRIP NOT RECOMMENDED WITHOUT NEW TIRES.
