Vehicle Detail

“The story goes” that the original owner Leo Brower purchased the car in Troy N,C. and owned the car till 1991. He was a doctor. The second owner Jeffrey Chakonas (relative) had the car for 1 year and traded it to Bugelows Classics in N.C. for a 1969 Chevelle 300 SS BB. Kenny Fisher purchased the car in Feb. of 1992 from Bigelows Classic Cars in Nassau County N.Y. after purchasing the car he had the motor rebuilt because it was smoking & using oil. He replaced the original block because one of the cylinder was scored and could not be fixed . This was done in N.Y. at the local Chevrolet dealer. The car retains original milage, the original P.O.P, original body sheetmetal and trunk/ floor pans. I had to scrape the red clay off the bottom when we painted the underneath. In 1994 Ken had the car painted & vinyl top replaced, seats recovered, and replaced the carpet and the headliner. In 1997 Ken replaced motor for a 1979 Z28 350 bored 30 over Troqer single plane intake, with a Holley 650 carb, he added a HEI ignition, a crane cam, Engizer Dynomax Headers, rebuilt the turbo 350 auto with a B&M Trans Go shift kit, installed new power brakes, new power steering pump, installed boxed in rear lower control arms & installed energy suspension bushings In 2002 Ken changed the heads to Sportsman 2 Heads with 202 intake, and 194 exhaust-valves with 64 cc proform roller rockers and 1.5 & push rods with a duel plane-intake. In 2007 Ken added dynomax Super Turbo Mufflers The car came Lemans Blue with a white vinyl top with white bucket seat interior with a 12 bolt rear end with posi 3:31 gears from the factory. The only thing done to this car was the motor and transmission work. In the console there is a tire valve stem that you need to put air in the tires, The brakes may be kinda touchy due to it sitting for 9 months. I am glad to see that the car is not staying local it is sad to see an old friend leave. This car has the original P.O.P., Original Dealer order documentation.
