I am the second owner of this estate car. I have known it's original owner since a lad of eleven and the daughter heir since 1952. It was being "saved" for a grandson who finally convinced his mother he did not want it. I found it in garage covered with cardboard boxes and cat mess. I trailered it home and spent three months replacing just about all the components except the interior and vinyl top. Fresh lavender (original) paint. New; Tires, Radiator, Gas Tank, Fuel pump, Master cylinder, Power booster, Wheel cylinders, Front shoes, Rebuilt power steering reservoir, New ignition, New water pump, All hoses and Charged the A/C. I have put 10,000 miles on it since the refurbishing. All receiipts and some oringinal papers. A clear Montana Title. The car runs perfectly and will take you anywhere in air conditioned comfort. The gas gauge does not work and the drivers seat cushion has a tear. Other upholsery and dash are perfect. Vinyl top is perfect. No dents or rust. The trunk was freshened with new carpet. All glass is perfect and all electric windows work fine. Engine is a 383/ four barrel with Torque Flight Transmission. Engine has good compression and no blowby.
