Said I didn't disclose that the rockers had been replaced and the marker lights are missing in the grill. Someone did replace all the rockers and did a good job, which most folks would think of as a positive. As to the marker lights I really didn't notice them until now as it was no big deal but can be bought new for less than 50 bucks. I got this truck in trade on a 67 Chevelle. This is one of the nicer bodies on a 67-72 Chevrolet or GMC truck or suburban I have ever owned and I've owned a bunch. This was a Tennessee truck and yes - I have a clear Kentucky title ready to go into your name. Offered here is a highly optioned, check out the spid on the glove box, 1968 GMC Suburban. I have taken a lot of pictures to show just how straight the body is. We have been under this truck checking it out and only found a small seam of rust where the floor joins the rockers - we have now filled that with seam sealer and it looks fine. Would look a lot better if you put a set of factory step plates back on as someone left them off. Check out the photo of the spare tire well - solid as well as the original wood floor in the back. Truck has a 1970 350 with aluminum intake and 4 barrel along with headers and electronic distributor so you don't have to fool with points or voltage regulator. Web site shows this to be a 255 horse motor but probably pushing close to 275 or better with intake and headers. Trans is a 700R but the torque lockup is not hooked up - an easy thing to do if your doing interstate driving and want the overdrive - but runs out and shifts fine now. The spid shows posi rear end but I have not confirmed that but it does look like the rear end has never been taken out. The only thing I did was remove an ugly set of 20" wheels and replace with brand new 15" Wheel Vintique 6 lug Corvette Ralley's - 7" in the front and 8" in the back, new rings and caps as well as brand B.F. Goodrich T/A radials all the way around with 0 miles on them. Can't tell the 6 lug from the 5 with the caps and it's a lot cheaper than chaning everything over to 5 lug. Truck is clean under the hood with no rust showing on the inner fenders or radiator support - really clean. Bottom of doors and recently replaced rockers as mentioned above, replaced in the last 3-4 years look good. Truck was painted in the yellow rat rod flat primer within the past 3-4 years and is decent. Please note that there is some filler from front to back on the lower belt line of the truck where the original trim was attached - they filled the holes in but you could simply drill them back out and put new or good driver chrome back on if you want. Up to you but I like the smooth look. Truck has power steering and power brakes also. Please note: this is a 2 wheel drive model that would make a killer surf wagon, rat rod or hot rod. I hesitate to call it a rat rod as it is much better than that but paint your shop logo on the doors, air bag it and drop it to the ground and you have a top of the line rat rod or better yet hot rod. It needs a little tinkering and the door handle on the 3rd door needs the push button as it is missing. All glass is really nice. Just not much to do here to have a really neat cruiser for the whole family and the dog. This is a great wagon that will be a fun project to drive and work on while your enjoying hitting the cruise in's. The interior seats and door panels have been recovered in material - decent job and the headliner has been done in the same material but needs pulled up a little tighter. I would call this a 80's model hot rod suburban as it looks like work you would see done in mid 80's hot rods. Check out the custom cowl hood - all metal not some cheapo fiberglass bondo deal. Oh yeah, almost forgot new bumpers front and rear. Tires and wheels cost me $750 and $300 for the bumpers plus clean up. So I have spent a little over a grand getting it ready to list. The paint is not show quality but the body and drive train are way, way above average for any 1967-1972 Chevrolet or GMC truck or suburban. As I stated, I just got this in trade and have not driven it over 30-40 miles so I would highly recommend you bring a trailer to take it home. It needs checked out front to back before hitting the show circuit with it this summer. What I see is it needs a good tune up, trans fluid appears fresh and clean. I have set a very low reserve on this vehicle. Please email or call me or Doyle with any questions - John at 606-309-4911, Doyle 606-260-1172. A $250 non refundable deposit is due at end of auction and payment is expected in full within 7 days of auction end. If you can't play by these rules then don't play. I have sold a lot of vehicles and bikes on ebay and have 100% satisfaction rating. We have 50 acres and can hold the suburban for as long as necessary for you to make arrangements to pick up as long as payment is made in full. We don't charge storage. If you live in the northeast I have a guy that runs to New Jersey every week delivering and he can get the Suburban to Newark area for $500. WE DROVE THE SUBURBAN TO TOWN TODAY TO MEET THE BUYER - A 15 MILE TRIP one way AND IT RAN GOOD. BUYER SAID HE GONNA PASS ON IT AS IT BECAUSE OF THE PROBLEMS MENTIONED ABOVE AND THAT IT WOULDN'T START. DOYLE WATCHED HIM ACT LIKE HE WAS TURNING THE KEY. WHEN HE GOT OUT AND TOLD ME HE WAS PASSING ON IT CAUSE IT WOULDN'T START, ROCKERS HAD BEEN REPLACED AND RUNNING LIGHTS WERE MISSING, DOYLE GOT IN IT TURNED THE KEY AND SHE FIRED RIGHT UP - please don't insult our intellegence!!. THE MOTOR IS REALLY NICE IN THIS TRUCK AS IS THE RUNNING GEARS. ABSOULTELY NO SMOKE OR BLOW BY - SUPER STRONG MOTOR. I have been selling on ebay since they started and I try to describe my stuff as best as I can. This is the first time in 13 years I have had a vehicle passed on so here you go. Bidders please note: This is a nice $4,500 to $6,000 truck around here so please don't think your getting a $20,000 truck and taking advantage of the dump 'ol hillbillies down in the mountians of East Kentucky. If you need permission from your honey to buy or bid, please do so before auction ends. We try to do our best to deal honestly and straight up with everyone as shown by my feedback. I've been married 38 years, to the same woman, and trading on vehicles for all 38 years and my lovely wife trusts my opinion on 38 years experience buying, selling and trading vehicles. If your looking for a totally rust free suburban then keep looking or check out the 67-72 truck forum on the internet as Sharpie has some really nice one's. Also a great place to find parts cheap for Suburban's. If your looking for a nice decent suburban or wagon that you can drive now and enjoy and work on as you drive it = then this is it. Search: hot rod, chevy suburban, GMC suburban, rat rod, wagon, surf wagon, 1967-1972 , C10, suburban, station wagon. Jarrod on the 4 wheeler is not for sale. He's a keeper and wanted to show off his riding skills and girlfriend. My vehicles are located in London, Kentucky. We are 60 miles south of Lexington and 100 miles north of Knoxville right on I-75.
