1947 Dodge 1 ton stake Truck. I bought this truck in south dakota. It is a two owner truck. It has a clean title and last titled in 2010. The numbers are all matching! The only two alterations made by the second owner was that the pick up box was changed to a stake body and the front bumper was changed to the current bumper. ( grill was cut on the bottom luver as pictures show, but i have included a good grill if you would want to put it back to orginal.) as the video shows, the truck runs great with no engine noise, no smoke, and no misses. The clutch and tranny are the way they are suppose to be and shift great. It will need a new master cylinder for the brakes, a driver side door glass, and windshield glass. (all other windows are intact.) The seat should be reupholstered but all of the springs are there. The truck needs a window crank handle and door handle, (easily available through after market stores). It is an all steel truck with no bondo and I left the paint original to show the quality of the sheet metal. All four tires hold air and have good tred but are aged. (fine for parades or car shows.) all guages worked except speedometer and it has the orignal wire harness. In my opinion I would replace it with a new wire harness due to age. I pumped the pedal three times, hit the starter and the engine fires right up and idles beautiful. Under acceleration there is no misses. I have taken a video and many pics to give you a true feel for the truck. This truck is alot of fun to drive and gets many looks! I have set the reserve very reasonable so have fun bidding!
