I purchased this car 11/18/04 from a car dealer. It had 65,323 miles. It currently has 92,905 miles. As shown in the pictures it has rust in some areas. The rust on the left lwr. qtr. panel is from the outside in. It does have a perforation. The right lwr. door is bad on the inside. It also rusted from the outside in. The car was rust proofed when it was new or nearly new. The problem with the door developed from next to no paint from the factory. The trunk floor and floorboards are in great shape. The drivers door has some light rust. The clearcoat is peeling on the header, left fender and left quarter. There is a small break in the left tail lamp. The only place that I believe there is any filler is directly over the left rear wheel. It is small. I have 35 yrs. exp. in auto collision repair. The interior is outstanding. It has two tone raven / charcoal leather. The carpet is great. I was in the process of converting this coupe to a V8. It has a 1997 cobra rear axle, 3:73 gear w / rear vented rotors. The front was changed to 2002 mustang spindles and calipers. The calipers were replaced recently, frt rotors turned rears replaced w / new. The wheels are 17" cobra III's. They have some corrosion. Tires are Goodyears, they have a lot of tread but are very dry, cracking visible. the rears are 285's , frts are 255's. The following have been replaced recently: Battery,clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing, frt. struts, air idle motor. The exhaust is shot. I will have some kind of muffler put on so it can be driven. The A/C is locked up. This car is fully optioned. Preferred equipment pkg.157. It has keyless entry, auto h / l dimmer and all the goodies. I have the window sticker and manual. I have a spare engine and trans from a 1988 if the buyer is interested. Thanks for looking.
