This is a 1957 Bel Air 2 door hardtop that is has better than average sheetmetal and is a rolling chasis project with no motor or transmission. Has a front seat frame and some other parts interior/and exterior that go with it. As you can see I did not make any attempts to cover anything up by spraying the car with primer as some might have because to me the body is excellent shape. I am no paint and body man but this car looks solid. There would be less body work on this one than average 57s that I have looked at. There has been sheet metal work done in the trunk area (looks good to me) do not know if it would be show quality or not. There is some bondo on the passenger door and lower passenger fender and the car sat in a shop/barn for years and got some surface rust coming through the previous body work/primer and there is a spot on the top of the rear quarter pnl near the trunk where a person left a rag with brake fluid or something that ate a hole. The floor boards are better than average for floors not replaced one small metal patch on the passenger side, one looks like fiberglass patch on the drivers side, and I think there is a fiberglass patch on the hump where it had a floor shifter at one time. quarters may have been replaced I do not know because they are very solid looking. This is a rolling project car that should save someone alot of time and money but it is a 1957 model so there is no guarantee with this sale as I have told you all I know about the condition of the car and I am selling it as is.
