Clean, low mileage Mustang LX 5.0 convertible for sale. Vehicle has just over 44K miles. Was orginally owned by a family friend in the DC metro area, who seldom drove it due to traffic conditions. Was purchased in 1995 as an extra car to have some fun in, and has been as such since. Except for the last several years, the car has always been kept in a garage. The most this car has probably been driven in any one year is 3000 miles and I believe that's a stretch. Exterior is in good condition with no major dents or dings. The paint is slightly faded, but polishes nicely. The exterior black trim such as the door handles are faded, but should be able to be restored. The interior is in good shape. The only interior damage of note is a small hole in the outer portion of the driver's seat. The top was replaced approximately 10 years after it was slashed by a thief. The engine runs strong, although it would probably benefit from a tune-up and an A/C recharge. The battery was replaced last fall, and the tires have good tread remaining. Vehicle is sold "as is/where is" with no warranty. Purchaser is responsible for pickup or transportation. Payment via PayPal, certified check, cash or money order. All in all this car has been a lot of fun and I hate to part with it. However, with some personal changes I find that it hardly ever gets driven and I want someone to be able to enjoy it.
