Vehicle Detail

Let me start off by saying that I am regretfully selling my 4 year project that I painstakenly built for my wife to have her dream car. Due to a change in marital and financial status I am forced to let her go ( the wife and the car ). If you are looking for a 69 camaro that draws a crowd where ever it goes and that will make little kids run for cover when you drive home, then this is the car you are looking for. If you want a meticulously restored show car that is numbers matching this is not the car for you. I built it to be fast, apparently it's not fast enough to kill someone when they drive it but it's close. When I bought this car it was a racecar, the suspension was dialed in and it was running low 10's in the quarter mile. The body was solid and in good shape so I took the cage out, ( it didn't help, she never wrecked it ), and proceeded to put the interior back together, it has new carpet, some aftermarket bucket seats, a reconditioned back seat, new carbon fiber simulated guage panel with all electronic guages. The rest of the interior panels are origonal and not perfect but they are liveable. Whats missing on the inside is the headliner and dashpad, and the rear quarter windw regulators. I had every intention of finishing the interior and making a nice street car but as it turns out tramps get alot of attention at the dragstrip so I was convinced that making it faster was the answer to all my problems. So step number one was a rearend upgrade just because I always wanted to say I had a narrowed 9 inch, so it is a braced large housing narrowed 3 1/2 inches from stock width so that a good deep rim with a 10 inch tire will fit. It is filled with a lightweight spool and 4.88 richmond gears with 35 spline strange axles and the explorer disc brakes wich is slightly overkill but made my wet dreams come true from high school hot rod mags. Holding the rear end in place is a set of stock leaf springs with cal-trac bars, this combo hooks well with a best 60 foot of 1.56 pulling the front wheels 10 inches. connected to that is a 1350 joint driveshaft leading to a th 400 with a trans brake and full manual valve body getting power sent by a 4800 rpm stall converter The front brakes consist of strange slotted 4 piston brakes with a wilwood porportioning valve and a line lock and a vacuum booster Still retains power steering and brakes because women are sissies and can't drive a real car. The paint is ok but older and been driven, this is not a show car just a clean driver all glass is good and lights work with a new bumper to bumber wiring harness It has a 6 gallon fuel cell with a holley black pump and a pro comp adjustable regulator and liquid filled guage and trunk mounted battery ( done right with 0 guage ) Seperate trans cooler with braided -6 lines, aluminium 2 core radiator and 15 inch electric cooling fan with no cooling issues whatsoever The car is sitting on 28x9 slicks on 8x15 inch centerlines and 165's on 5x15 inch centerlines on the front It has a lift off 4 inch cowl fiberglass hood that covers the best part............... The part that should have done her in and paid out my insurance policy is the motor It is a 010 chevy 4 bolt main .030 bored forged steel 3.48 crank billet rods with arp bolts ross 12.5 to one forged pistons with gapless rings .630 lift solid roller cam, lunati pop up lifters, crane 1.5 intake and crower 1.6 stainless steel full roller rockers and comp hardened pushrods Dart pro1 230 heads with port work and k-motion k1200 springs and a stud girdle single plane high rise intake 8781 850 holley double pumper msd pro billet dist. with a 6al and ss coil msd 8.8 wires underdrive aluminium pulleys and high flow aluminium water pump This car has ran a best of 11.51 @ 119.4 at altitude that could be better with 2 more degrees of timing so if your at sea level it will go into the 10's again It has been dynoed at 434 rwhp through the loose converter, I will provide the sheet to any bidder that requests it Since this car was built for someone else and they are gone now I can't bear to go in my garage and see it so it has to go so no reserve just take my nightmare away please If you don't have the funds don't bid and take someone elses chance away I can deliver up to 500 miles for $1 per mile ( unless you are a hot chick then maybe we can work something out ) if you are farther than that I will help with anything you need to get the car home. I am confident you will be happy owning this car and will respond to all questions as soon as possible, don't hesitate to ask.
