You are looking at a 2005 Subaru Legacy GT Limited extensively modified to estimated 400whp. The car last dynoed at 360WHP (Dyno sheet in pictures) and since has had additional work and a street tune completed. This car has won several trophies for various car shows including best of show, best of class, three 1st place, and a few others. It's guaranteed to turn heads wherever you go. I get the common question of "What kind of car is this?" it seems every time I drive it. Driving it is a great experience and it will put a smile on your face every time. The Good: Tons of power and built to hold it reliably (see mod list). I would drive this car cross country. The car currently has a little over 55,000 miles on it and has had less than 2,000 miles put on it a year. It has been garage kept for the past 4 years and has not seen rain or any other form of precipitation. It has never been smoked in or eaten in (at least not since I've owned it from 07/06). The vehicle is an absolute joy to drive and handles like it's on rails. You will slide out of your comfy leather seat before the car meets it's limits. It's loaded with factory Automatic Climate Control, Heated Seats, Power Everything, Sunroof, etc. It has a roughly $3,000 sound system installed as well to keep your toes tapping and of course to upset the neighbors on occasion. Consider the car an adult version of the popular WRX. It has roughly $30,000 in modifications, all professionally installed. I have built this car over many years and have still not installed all of the parts bought for it. Luckily they come with the car so you can continue it's Legacy (pun intended). The car has a wonderful sound due to the unequal headers and is awesomely loud, and if that's not loud enough for you it has an exhaust cutout with a block off plate under the car, with it open I would estimate 120+db coming from the exhaust. With the plate off it will attract all sorts of attention, including from the Police as I have found. The nicely sized turbo has hardly any lag and keeps the car nice and drivable. The slightly lower suspension (1.5" if I remember correctly) also helps keep the car drivable on rough roads, you don't have to worry about bottoming out. It still has all air bags intact and in working condition. Tires are maybe 75%. Brakes have maybe 10,000 miles on all 4 rotors and pads. A/C blows ice cold. Carpet is brand new (replaced factory tan for black). Interior is in pretty nice condition. Vehicle has never been in an accident. The Not so Good: Unfortunately there are a few trade-offs when you modify a car this much. 1. The car will throw an occasional check engine light when it's switching from MAF (Cold Start) to Speed Density (Normal Operating Temp.), it doesn't hurt the car at all but thanks to Subaru engineering your cruise control light will blink at you and not work until you flash the check engine light off. This will happen maybe every 20 times you drive it. The trick is the simply drive the car after you start it and not let it sit and idle until it warms up. 2. The next on the list is the clutch. Due the amount of power the car puts out it has a very strong clutch with maybe 25-30lbs of push on the pedal. It can be a bear in traffic but I like to put an optimistic twist on things and say it's part of my work out plan. 3. One thing I highly recommend the car has re-attached is the front bumper beam. I removed it a while back due to not wanting to trim it for the front mount intercooler. It becomes a slight safety issue with it not being on the car. The bumper beam will come with car. 4. The car does not have a catalytic converter. In most states with vehicle inspection they will require a catalytic converter to be installed. This can be as cheap as $50 dollars welded in. The issue is the car was tuned without the cat, so if you put one on to pass inspection you may want to take it off to get the most of out the car. 5. The car is not perfect. It has a couple of dings and lots of bugs permanently attached to the front bumper. The car could use a good interior detail. The rear seat has 4 small rust colored rings from bringing a friend a compressor a few years ago. No good deed goes unpunished. I doubt it would be hard to remove the rings. 6. Last but not least the car still has a lien on it. It will be paid off immediately after payment and the Security Interest paper will be given to the buyer (you who is reading this with any luck) and the car will be yours and good to go. Now for the fun stuff: This car is being sold AS IS. Buyer is responsible for pick up or shipping of the car and the parts that come with the car (if you want them). If local (within 100miles) I will consider delivery. The car currently has a lien on it. Upon payment, I will immediately pay off the car and give the purchaser the Security Interest form when received from the bank with the signed over title. On Jun-16-11 at 10:32:22 PDT, seller added the following information:Good news! I was digging around the garage and found that the original catback is actually the original turboback. No need to weld in a temporary catalytic converter. Just bolt up the old exhaust to pass inspection. I must note though that the car is tuned to the current exhaust, if you put on the original exhaust to pass inspection you must put the aftermarket one back on for it to run properly.
