I am relisting this item as the previous winning bidder did not show up, only bid if you are serious about buying this wagoneer! I bought this 1988 Jeep Grand wagoneer to add to my collection because of its history, actual miles, no rust, and very pristine interior. ( I have original pictures of the paint when I bought it and every angle of the truck to show the only issue was clear coat oxidation) I had the paint blended where the issues were, so it was not a complete repaint (as you can see in the pictures and video, the door jams are rust free and original paint ,etc...). The truck looks fabulous! The pictures of the original paint are available for the buyer who wins for documentation showing no rust issues. To the best of my knowledge, it is a two owner truck originally from PA. The people then relocated to south west wisconsin in 1993. It was not driven in a city where salt was used on the roads. The truck drives great, the body looks great, and in my opinion, the interior looks great. I do not want to under or over call this jeep but I feel this is such a unique vehicle, I am sharing every little thing I found to call it perfect. The headliner sags in spots. The jeep when ideling is sparatic but when driving more than 5 mph, is great. I have driven this jeep 60 mph and it handled good. I would recommend that you go through the jeep mechanically (updating belts, fluids etc..) before taking it on a long trip as we drove it around locally here and there (no more than 40 miles each time) .I put the jeep in 4x4 and the 4wd light came on. the rear window is in/ op. The fuel guage works sometimes but goes to full other times,(possible ground) the cruise is in/ op. I have the hood orniment but i just set it on the jeep for pictures. There is one small bubble under the woodgrain driver side door, I did not remove the woodgrain and fix as it is very hard to notice, but it is there. It is located just left of the door handle by about three inches and is the size of a quarter. One tire is not a white wall but all four tires are very good, almost like new! I have too many cars for my collection so it is time for this one to go. Look at the pictures and video and feel free to come and drive/inspect. As the history report will show, the odemeter is accurate and the jeep has never been in an accident.
