Up for sale is my 1989 GMC SLE Loaded ( POWER EVERYTHING )Diesel Suburban 1500 4x4 I'm selling it, as I am moving to TN in one month. This truck has a rebuilt title. It is cheap, as the transmission seems to shift odd as of late. You have to floor it to get it to shift. Although it has a rebuilt transmission in it. Sometimes it just doesn't want to shift, I don't know whats up. I have an appointment with the shop next week to have it looked at. Other than that, it runs great! Some new parts as well. It If it doesn't sell, I've located a 700r4 for 200 bucks and I'll try to find someone to put in it. I'm moving, and this vehicle has to go! For the price, you can't go wrong. Excellent work truck. This vehicle was bought for my father to haul Amish in, and pull loads for them, however he never did that. I'm open to all offers. 6.2 Diesel 4x4 700r4 with over drive 22 MPG highway!!! Starts right up, fires on first crank! 163,457 miles, which is just broke in for a diesel Can run on bio diesel, wvo, etc Loaded SLE model, power everything Professionally tinted rear windows Fresh pain about 5 years ago NEW WARN 4x4 HUBS ( 2 years ago, but very few miles put on them ) New fuel filter ( last week ) New lift pump (last week ) New alternator New Starter Nice interior, with 3rd row seats Clarion CD player 80 percent tread left on mud and snow tires!! Over 400 dollars in tires Dual starting batteries Brakes are good all around I have had quite a few diesels, and this is one of the best running engines I've had. 7 Pin connector in the rear of the truck for trailer hook ups Does come with a Reese tow hitch, which I pulled off and undercoated, however never got it put back on. There only down sides to this truck is the transmission acting up. I do think it will be an easy fix. The other down side is the rust. It is rusty. Frame isn't rusted through, or anything like that, but it getting rusty in quite a few spots. Rear doors are pretty rough too. I would just oil it, and keep running the bad boy. A diesel 4x4 suburban is hard to find! Dropped the tank, and forgot to put the red wire back on the tank, so fuel gauge is always on full. Tires may need balanced as well, bit of a shimmy sometimes. I also have a 85 4x4 diesel blazer with snow plow I will be selling. Along with an 84 4x4 suburban, with a 4" lift kit, rebuilt motor, 33" tires, and more.
